Maple and Chai-Spiced Granola
This easy, delicious, not-too-sweet granola gets it’s chai-spiced flavors from Digestive Ghee plus additional cinnamon, ginger and cardamom. For this recipe, we’ve added watermelon seeds for extra crunch and nutrition. Recipe makes enough for 6-8 servings.

Dry Ingredients
  • 345g(3 cups) rolled oatsOld fashioned
  • 30g(1/4 cup) whole grain flourwheat, spelt or gluten free
  • 60g(1/2 cup) Husked Watermelon Seedsor any favorite chopped nuts or seeds
  • 1g(1/2 tsp) green cardamom powder
  • 1.2g(1/2 tsp) Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1.2g(1/2 tsp) dried ginger powder
  • 1g(1/4 tsp) salt
  • 80g(1/2 cup) raisinsoptional

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Stir the oats, flour, watermelon seeds, spices and salt together in a bowl. Save the raisins until later.
  3. Separately, whisk together the maple syrup, melted ghee, and vanilla until completely combined. Add to the oat mixture, stirring well to coat.
  4. Place mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Stir and turn the granola over a couple of times with a heat-proof spatula.
  6. Return to oven; bake another 20-30 minutes, adding raisins, if desired, for the last 10-15 minutes of baking.
  7. All granola to cool completely. Store in a glass jar or a plastic sealed bag in the refrigerator.
