Moringa Honey Coconut Ice Cream
This frozen treat is a delightful way to enjoy moringa powder! We’ve chosen raw honey to sweeten, however, you can use an alternative such as cane sugar or maple syrup if desired. Add additional ingredients to your heart’s content!
Main Ingredients
  • 1can (13.5 oz.) coconut milkfull fat, organic
  • 1/4-1/3cup raw honeyor other natural sweetener
  • 2-3tsp moringa powdermore or less, to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extractmore or less, to taste
  • 1/2tsp cardamom, greenground, more or less, to taste
Optional Additional Ingredients
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes
  • dark chocolate chips
  • Raw cacao nibs
  • Chopped nuts
  • Currants or dried ginger
  • dried fruitsblueberries, chopped dates, pineapple, cherries, etc.
  1. Gently heat coconut milk in a saucepan to warm. Pour into a blender.
  2. Add honey, moringa powder, vanilla and cardamom, pureeing until smooth and completely combined.
  3. Chill for several hours to overnight; transfer to an ice cream maker. Prepare according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Once the ice cream is made, stir in any additional ingredients desired.
  5. Serve immediately or freeze for later.
