Tamarind Whiskey Sour
  • 1-1/2oz bourbon
  • 1oz lime juicefreshly squeezed
  • 3/4oz simple syrupor jaggery syrup
  • 1tsp tamarind paste
  • orange slices
  • maraschino cherries
  1. Combine bourbon, lime juice, simple syrup, and tamarind concentrate in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill shaker with ice, close, and shake for 30-60 seconds.
  3. Strain cocktail into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  4. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry, or alternatively a piece of candied ginger.
