Sandeep Agarwal has a Bachelors in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance. After working on Wall Street in New York, USA for many years, he did not find satisfaction in his work. His family has been in ghee business in Haryana (India) for 5-generations. Inspired by his family values and to continue his family tradition, he left his hi-tech job and launched a homemade ghee manufacturing business with his wife in New Jersey, USA. Today, their company Pure Indian Foods is one of the most respected Organic Ghee companies in North America. They brought the Ayurveda Ghrita concept to a culinary level by introducing unique herb/spiced ghee products sold as food, which were recognized by The New York Times.
