The tamarind fruit is well-known for it’s bright, tangy taste when added to food, but did you know it has also been traditionally used for skin care?
These age-old recipes have been used for gentle face-cleansing for many years in Asia. We hope your skin enjoys them!
Mix all ingredients well, adding gram flour a little at a time, until you have paste of medium thickness. Spread on your face and allow to dry. Wait 20 minutes before rinsing off.
1 tsp tamarind paste
1 tsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice
1 TBSP sugar
Mix all ingredients well, and apply to face. Gently massage in small circles for one minute, then gently rinse with lukewarm water.
