In India, figs are called "Anjeer". They are often enjoyed in a lassi, or for a snack, or dessert. This simple recipe provides probiotic support from the kefir and natural sweetness from figs, dates and raw honey. Spice it up as desired with cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg. This recipe makes enough for one person but can be doubled, tripled, etc.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (120ml) kefir or plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) whole milk
- 1 fresh figs chopped
- 1 date pitted and chopped
- raw honey local, if possible
- Ceylon cinnamon ground
- green cardamom ground
- pinch nutmeg freshly grated or ground

Instructions
- Puree kefir with milk, figs, dates, and any amount of honey, cinnamon and cardamom desired, until smooth. Pour into a serving glass. Garnish with a pinch of nutmeg over the top.
