Kitchari is to Indian food what Chicken Noodle Soup is to American food. Its a food for rainy days when your’re under the weather. This dish is considered a comfort food and is easily digested.

- 1/2 cup rice basmati
- 1/2 cup moong daal split
- 1 TBSP Ghee
- 1/2 tsp turmeric ground
- 3-1/2 cups broth or water
- 1 tsp Himalayan pink salt

Instructions
- In a sieve, mix the moong dal and rice. Rinse thoroughly with water
- Add all ingredients to your Instant Pot.
- After locking lid, set to Pressure Cook for 20 minutes.
- After cooking is done, let it release the pressure naturally. Then take off lid.
