- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 1 shallot(s)
- ¼ cup broth
- Himalayan pink salt to taste
- peppercorns, black to taste
- thyme to taste

Instructions
- Cut the Brussels sprouts in half. Peel the shallot and chop into small pieces.
- Heat a pan over medium-low heat. Add the butter or ghee to melt.
- Once the butter or ghee is melted, add the Brussels sprouts and shallot and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add the broth and salt, pepper and thyme.
- Cover and braise for 20 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are soft.
